This kitchen was in need of some very serious updates. Everything was dated: tile, laminate counter tops, ceilingings, lighting, appliances and more had to go. There was no flow to this room - not a pleasant place to be for a cook and their guests. The entire space was gutted from the floor up, including the ceiling. And, why not throw in a flat screen TV for added entertainment! The walls have a skip trowel texture with a multiple glazed finish. The floor is 24" x 24" travertine w/ diamond accents and tumbled marble backsplash laid on a 45 degree angle. A lighted stainless steel vent hood w/glass dome suspended above the two level peninsula add a little more flair. To complete this kitchen, what was once the center of a not so friendly space, is the new breakfast area leading out to a future patio.
